UUC LLC (d/b/a “Buy Land Today“) takes payment security seriously. This page explains how card payments on https://buylandtoday.us (the “Site“) are protected.
1. We never see or store your card number
Payments on the Site are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification in the payments industry.
When you reserve a parcel, you enter your card details on Stripe’s secure payment page — not on our servers. Your card number, expiration date, and security code go directly to Stripe; they never touch, pass through, or get stored on our website or servers.
2. What we do store
We keep only what we need to manage your reservation: your name, contact details, the Parcel/APN, the amount paid, and Stripe’s transaction reference. See our Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.
3. Encryption
All pages on the Site, and all communication with Stripe, are encrypted in transit using TLS (the padlock in your browser). Payment data is additionally encrypted by Stripe under its PCI DSS controls.
4. Installment payments
If you purchase with financing, your recurring payments are handled by our third-party loan Servicer (will be provided at a later stage) through its own secure portal, under its own security and PCI compliance program. The Site does not store or process your installment payment credentials. See the Payment Plan Policy.
