This policy explains what is and isn’t refundable when you reserve or purchase land from UUC LLC (d/b/a “Buy Land Today“) through https://buylandtoday.us (the “Site“). It is part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Reservation Deposit and Document Fee
The one-time Reservation Deposit and Document Fee you pay at checkout are, except where a non-waivable law provides otherwise, non-refundable, including if you do not sign the Purchase Agreement within the hold period or choose not to proceed.
2. If we cancel
If we cancel your reservation because the Parcel is unavailable, a pricing/title error is found, or we decline the transaction, we will refund the full amount you paid through the Site (Reservation Deposit + Document Fee) to your original payment method.
3. Applied to purchase
If your purchase closes, the Reservation Deposit is applied to the purchase price and the Document Fee is retained as earned.
4. After purchase (financed sales)
Once you sign the Purchase Agreement, cancellation, refund, and any buyer-cure or default/forfeiture terms are governed by that agreement and your promissory note — not by this page. Amounts already paid, including down payment and installments, are refundable only as those documents (and applicable law) provide. See the Payment Plan Policy.
5. Payment problems and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us before initiating a chargeback or bank dispute so we can resolve it. See Terms §9.
6. How to request a refund or cancel
Contact us with your name and the Parcel/APN. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; timing depends on your bank and our processor.
